2019 Toyota RAV4 LE
The 2019 Toyota RAV4 base trim, the LE, is packed with all kinds of features, starting with its performance.
It comes with a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that delivers 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. With this standard engine, the vehicle achieves an EPA-estimated 26 city/35 highway MPG.*
With that kind of power and fuel economy, you’ll want to spend hours driving around town. Feel free to do this by yourself or with others—there’s plenty of room for all!
The SUV seats five with 98.9 cubic feet of passenger volume. You’ll get plenty of space for cargo, too, with 37.6 cubic feet behind the back row and 69.8 cubic feet behind the front.
2019 RAV4 XLE
You can then pack up the XLE and be on your way as it comes with the same performance specs and interior dimensions mentioned above.
Plus, like the LE trim, the XLE is available in front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The available Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive system can send up to 50% of power to the rear wheels. As a result, you’ll have extra responsiveness and stability when you need it most.
Additionally, the RAV4 XLE also comes with an Entune™ 3.0 Audio infotainment system. With this system, you get features like Apple CarPlay®, so you can access your favorite apps without having to mess with your phone while driving.
Toyota RAV4 Premium
Next up is the 2019 Toyota RAV4 Premium, which gives you everything that we’ve talked about above.
However, you now have SofTex® seating along with a leather-wrapped steering wheel. You also have an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, so you can quickly and easily get comfortable behind the wheel.
Plus, with the previously mentioned Entune™ 3.0 system, you get Wi-Fi Connect Powered by Verizon. With up to 2 GB of data, everyone can remain connected to the internet, no matter where you travel.
The Toyota RAV4 Adventure trim still gives you that 203-horsepower 2.0L 4-cylinder engine. However, fuel economy ratings are adjusted a bit at an EPA-estimated 25 city/33 highway MPG.*
Plus, unlike the above trims, this one comes standard in all-wheel drive. This trim also lives up to its name, letting you go on all kinds of adventures on various terrain.
After all, it comes with Multi-Terrain Select, where you can choose from the following modes:
- MUD & SAND
- ROCK & DIRT
When activated, the system can sense slippage and will adjust the engine throttle and brakes to regulate wheelspin. As a result, you can feel confident traveling on all kinds of surfaces.
2019 RAV4 Limited
Finally, you have the RAV4 Limited, which provides the same performance specs as the Adventure trim.
However, this changes things up a bit with the interior. For instance, you now have heated front seats to stay cozy on especially cold nights. You could also get ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel with an option package. With these creature comforts in place, you can stay relaxed in your vehicle, regardless of what the temperature is like outside.
The Limited has a different infotainment system, too. It comes with an Entune™ 3.0 Premium Audio with Dynamic Navigation system. This advanced navigational feature gives you most up-to-date map data and routes. Plus, with Dynamic POI Search, you can use casual search terms for points of interest. Say things like “gas station near me,” and it’ll pull up directions to the closest one.
The Toyota RAV4 is available as a hybrid model, too, in the following trim levels:
There’s also the XSE, which only comes in a hybrid version.
The RAV4 Hybrid comes with that 2.5L 4-cylinder engine as well as dual electric motors. Together, you get 219 horsepower for your city and highway travels.
In addition to that extra power, you’ll get even more efficiency since these vehicles achieve an EPA-estimated 41 city/38 highway MPG.* So, you can spend even more time on the road, whether it’d be through the city or off the beaten path.
