Toyota Camry Trim Levels
For decades, the Toyota Camry has been one of the most reliable vehicles on the road. This midsize sedan is great for families and individuals who need a dependable car for getting around Lowell, Dracut, and Tewksbury. However, with so many trim options to choose from, which one offers everything you’re looking for?
Ira Toyota of Tewksbury decided to take a look at all the 2020 Toyota Camry trim levels from our large selection of new inventory. Ready to figure out which trim is right for you? Keep reading!
The Camry L is the base trim. It features a 2.5L Dynamic Force 4-cylinder engine that produces 203 horsepower. The transmission is an 8-speed electronically controlled automatic. In general, the Camry is a very fuel-efficient car, as it gets an EPA-estimated 29 city/41 highway MPG rating.1
Inside, you’ll find a 4.2-inch TFT Multi-Information Display. With this display, you’ll have access to a number of features, such as the integrated backup camera.
Every Camry comes with Toyota Safety Sense™ P (TSS-P) to give you peace of mind with its advanced safety features, including Lane Departure Alert, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and the Pre-Collison System that can even bring your car to a complete stop.
The next trim is the Camry LE. It has the same engine and transmission as the Camry L.
Inside, you’ll find more seat options for a supportive drive, with an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with power lumbar support. In the back seat, your passengers will have more comfort, too, with a center armrest with cupholders.
You’ll have easier access to the trunk, thanks to the standard 60/40 split-folding seats.
The next trim, the Camry XLE, begins to add some features to both the interior and exterior.
The Smart Key System with Push Button Start gets you on the road quicker. A larger 8-inch touchscreen comes standard, as well. There are also more connections for your tech, with three USB ports. You’ll be more aware of your surroundings with the Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
The ride in the Camry XLE is more luxurious and comfortable, too. Leather seats and a leather-trimmed steering wheel come standard. There’s also dual-zone automatic climate control and heated front seats.
Driving the XLE gives you more control. Switch between three modes––ECO, Normal, or Sport––to adjust the drivetrain. You’ll also be able to see more when you drive with the standard LED headlights and LED Daytime Running Lights. On the side, power-heated mirrors come standard and give you more visibility by melting away any frost that might build up.
This trim has a heightened exterior appearance. It has a bright metallic front grille and a single chrome exhaust.
Camry XLE V6
The XLE V6 is the first trim to offer more power under the hood. It has a 3.5L V6 engine that delivers 301 horsepower. Its added power translates into its design, too. Dual-chrome exhausts and a shark-fin antenna give it a sporty appearance.
There’s also more information available with the 10-inch Head-Up Display with customizable settings. You’ll always be on the right path with the Audio Plus with JBL® with Clari-Fi™ Restoration Technology sound system.
The entire entertainment system gets a boost, too. Enjoy SiriusXM® Satellite Radio on the 9-speaker sound system. If you don’t feel like using one of the USB ports to charge your phone, there’s a Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging station.
The SE uses the same 4-cylinder engine as the L, LE, and XLE, but has a sportier design. Its performance-inspired Black front grille with sport mesh insert is built to make an impression.
The SE trim brings that sporty look inside, as well. Sport SofTex®-trimmed front seats with fabric inserts give the appearance of a sports car. A panoramic glass roof with power moonroof makes the cabin feel more open.
The SE gives you the kind of information you’d want in a sports car, too. The Tire Pressure Monitor System gives you a direct readout of information.
The XSE takes that sports car look a step further. Its interior features a textured metal trim, while the exterior projects a bold demeanor.
The LED headlights and taillights are equipped with a smoke tint. The 19-inch Black Machine-finish alloy wheels are larger and more eye-catching on this trim. The chrome dual exhausts on the back round out its sleek look.
Camry XSE V6
The XSE V6 is the top––and most powerful––trim. It has a much larger 3.5L V6 that generates 301 horsepower.
It’s available with a two-tone Midnight Black Metallic roof and rear spoiler to give it an appearance that fits its extra horsepower.
