The Man Behind Crossfit Billerica
Dave Innis, the owner of Crossfit Billerica, found his first love in powerlifting. He’s competed in national and international competitions. While in college, he was also a track and field competitor, and took part in many regional events and championships.
He wasn’t introduced to CrossFit until after college. The first workout he ever did was the Fran, in which you must use a 95- or 65-pound weight and complete repeated reps of thrusters and pull-ups as fast as possible. After one set with a 95-pound weight, he was nearly reduced to a crawl and immediately wanted more.
Now, as one of the dedicated coaches at Crossfit Billerica, Dave can help people discover how much fun working out can be!
